Because if I want the badass toggle switches that were in the Premium trim Mustang I sat in earlier today, I apparently HAVE to buy a Premium in either EcoBoost or GT. I cannot have the V6 with Premium? What sort of communist bs is that???

It sucks right? I'd love to have a V6 Premium with 50th anniversary appearance package if Ford would allow it.

Ecobust can go sit in a corner, I don't care that it's got more power or more torque, I want a damn V6 premium, that V6 sound is better than a turbo-4 and it doesn't matter how much you pump that noise into the cabin.

Nothing new from car companies...Ford would prefer you buy an ecoboost. The V6 is the rental special. So they are strong arming you. P.S. I'd probably take a V6 over the 2.3T.

We must be like the only ones here that don't like the Ecoboost in the Mustang. I don't care how good it is, it's a damn 4 banger in a Mustang. You tell me what's wrong with that sentence.

I would probably choose the Ecoboost over the V6, but I can't deny that it sounds like shit. Even with the Ford Racing Sport exhaust.

The 5.0 on the other hand... Mother of God.

I'm thinking if I wait a bit, I might able to pick up a used 2015 GT for the same price as the old 2014 V6 Premium. Or, if it has to be new, there are companies that do very nice aftermarket leather seating kits, so that might be a good route to get a decent interior in the current V6. Doesn't help with the toggle switches though.

Guard is my favorite ford paint color. almost looks like Mallard green from the Escort RS Cosworth. Too bad its not available on the FoST.

I don't mind it really, it gets the same exact horsepower and fuel economy as the old V6, but weighs less, which improves handling. I get that part, and that's fine for people that want it. I just don't know that I do.

A variety of reasons. I do not want the redneck image a V8 Mustang brings. I am tired of driving 4 cyl cars. I've always preferred engines with six cylinders in terms of sound and smoothness. It's cheaper. I enjoy people questioning my automotive choices. Et cetera.

That's the problem, I actually want the V6, for reasons. The v8 and turbo4 just don't do it for me. I am odd.
